What is Permanent Jewelry?
'Permanent Jewelry' is a custom-fit chain secured to your wrist, ankle, or neck using a jump ring that is welded together instead of a traditional clasp, creating a 'permanent' piece of jewelry. We use a painless micro-welding technique to close the jump ring. You can choose from a variety of chain styles in long-lasting metals to create a bracelet, anklet, or even necklace. - How long does it take?
The process only takes about 10-15 minutes but we are currently offering appointments in 30 minute increments to allow you time to choose your chain and ask any questions.
- Does it hurt?
Not at all! The micro-welding process is painless.
- What is it made of?
We currently offer 14k Gold-Filled, solid 14K Gold, and Sterling Silver Chains.
- How much is it?
Pricing depends of type of metal, and our current price list is listed below. Please note, Prices and Chain Offerings are subject to change and availability.
- What happens if it breaks or I need to remove it?
We offer sturdy, durable chains that should last you years, however they are not indestructible and still needed to be treated with care. Should your jewelry break at the weld or jump ring, you are welcome to return to the boutique to get the chain welded back onto you, free of charge. If the chain is lost or becomes broken along the links, a new chain will need to be purchased at regular price.
If you need to remove it for any reason, wire cutters will do the trick.
