"Treat Your Body Like Your Bestie" Event
August Moon Boutique + Liberated Plate Nutrition are joining forces, merging our years of experience in the mental health space and fashion industry, typically fields that don't always sit hand in hand. Together, our hope is to break down some of the internal & societal barriers that can contribute to a negative body image, and ultimately a negative shopping experience. We believe that when you present your best self to the world, you feel your best -- and we want to help you get there!
So invite your besties for a night of crafting, yapping, & shopping at August Moon Boutique to cultivate a better body image for 2025! Liberated Plate will be sharing their expertise on self image & body positivity, and guide a 'body image spectrum' activity with visual journaling. Meanwhile, August Moon will be sharing fashion industry knowledge & styling tips that aim to help women embrace who they are and celebrate their bodies.
Date: Thursday, March 13th from 6:30 - 9:00pm
Location: August Moon Boutique, 1729 E. Passyunk Ave.
Timeline of the evening:
6:30 - 7:00pm: Arrive, find a seat, grab some snacks, browse the shop, and get comfy!
7:00 - 8:00pm: Presentations + activities led by Liberated Plate & August Moon, involving visual journaling, body image spectrum activity, & body-type styling tips.
8:00 - 9:00pm: Styling & Shopping! The last hour is dedicated to try-on sessions and personalized styling + fit tips from August Moon stylists.
How to RSVP: Purchase this $10 ticket by adding to cart and completing the checkout process. Your ticket reserves your seat AND serves as a $10 credit toward a full-price apparel purchase over $100 that evening! Space is limited to 20 seats.
In the case of cancellation, your ticket fee will be refunded to you via August Moon store credit, less the 3.25% transaction fee. In order to receive this credit, cancellations must be made no later than Monday, 3/10 at 11:59pm.
