The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Undergarments and Wellness products.
Items on Sale or purchased at a discount.
Worn, washed, or altered items. Original tickets should be attached.
All online returns must be pre-approved by August Moon. Please reach out to email@example.com within 7days of the package's delivery to request a return: you may write "Return Order# _____" in the subject line, and let us know which item you would like to return. Once the return is approved, the item must be shipped back within 5days of authorization. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and Return Packages must be insured Priority Mail. (If you choose not to insure your package and the package gets lost/damaged, August Moon will not be able to issue store credit). Additionally, if the item is not returned in its original condition within the timeframe noted above, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. For all online orders, a Store Credit will be issued via email upon receipt of returned goods. If you are local, you may also return online purchases to the store within 10 days the package's delivery. Repeated Online Returns may be subject to a Restock Fee.
In-Store Returns: All returns or exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase forStore Credit only.Items you wish to return must be in their original, unwashed & unaltered condition with tags attached.Proof of purchase must be present.We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not match these conditions.Wellness products, Undergarments, and Discounted items are always final sale.
Returns and Exchanges will not be accepted after 14 days. This is a hard deadline. If you have any questions or concerns about a return, please reach out within the 14 day window. Inquires or requests made after the 14 day window may not be reviewed or considered.
In-Store Pickups: Our In-Store Return Policy above also applies to In-Store Pick-Up transactions. Please note the 14-day window begins the day you make your purchase, not the day you pick up your items.
(Please do not mail in-store purchases back to the shop without authorization -- August Moon Co. is not responsible for any lost/stolen/unaccounted items if mailed).
August Moon Co. Jewelry Orders Processing time: While some jewelry items may be readily available to ship immediately, most are Made To Order. Regardless, your order will be ready to ship within 1-5 business days of purchase date, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping: We currently ship domestically via USPS Priority Mail. A Flat Rate of $7 is charged at checkout for all orders.
Tracking information will be provided. Delivery dates are estimates provided by the Shipping Carriers, therefore August Moon Co. cannot guarantee delivery dates and is not responsible for any delays or missing packages.
How to Care for your August Moon Co. Jewelry August Moon Co. Jewelry is delicate and handmade. We use 14k Gold-Filled Chain + Hardware (clasps, jump rings, etc.), and 14k Gold-Plated Bezels + Pendants, unless otherwise stated. The Gold-Plating over Brass may naturally fade or patina over time, but the jewelry still maintains its aesthetic in our eyes. To extend the life of your jewelry, follow these tips:
Polish gently with jewelry cloth if chain or bezel darkens. No chemicals!
Avoid wearing in water or shower.
Keep in safe storage - try not tangle or leave at the bottom of your purse.
A note on Magnetic Clasps: The magnetic clasps are incredibly strong! To unfasten, be sure to pull apart by grasping the two ends of the magnetic clasp. Try to avoid pulling the clasp apart by yanking on either end of the chain, as the chain is delicate and this is a handmade product. Yanking on the chain will stretch the links and wear out the chain faster, and August Moon Co. may not replace stretched chains.
1-Year Warranty In the odd circumstance that your jewelry item breaks or its construction becomes loose on its own, please contact me within 1 year of purchase date. Must provide proof of purchase. Depending on the situation and availability of materials, I may fix or replace your item, free of charge. If you are looking to repair a jewelry item that was damaged due to wear (tangled chain that snapped, faded plating, etc), I'd be happy to take a look at your item and potentially fix or replace materials for a small fee.
